Makhana Fasting Salad
Vrat Ka Salad: Vrat ki Chaat: Vrat Recipe: Healthy Salad recipe: Navratri Recipe: an easy, quick, and healthy dish for fasting days.
Today I am sharing this unique recipe for fasting days especially when you don’t want to have any deep-fried or even fried things.
This dish is quite easy to make in no time and is healthy as well. Talking in detail about ingredients used:
Soaking Makhana in water for about 10 minutes so it becomes soggy and can be chewed easily otherwise raw makhana is a bit difficult to chew. Next, using freshly grated coconut which can be considered as the main ingredient of this recipe and provides the salad with juicy sweet flavor.
To make it more healthy I am using boiled potato, cucumber, tomato, and chopped coriander leaves but you can use any veggies as per the availability. If skipped boiled potato then this recipe also considered as Fireless Cooking Recipe. Furthermore, if you like some spicy flavor then add a few finely chopped green chilies.
You can also enjoy this dish on normal days as an evening snack with the addition of green or tamarind chutney. This dish also falls under the category of Weight Loss Recipe.
