American Corn Salad: Corn Salad: Weight loss recipe: easy, tasty, and healthy option for small hunger at night or in the evening. 

Salads are basically used as a side dish with main course dishes but this dish is a complete meal in itself. Especially if you are on a weight loss journey then this type of complete food helps you a lot.

 

 

If we discuss the vegetables, I am using onion, zucchini, tomato, and capsicum but you can opt for any vegetable which is available to you.

The tangy flavor of lemon makes it more lip-smacking. Also, this salad is high in spicy flavors, so for that, you can use finely chopped green chilies. 

 

This easy-to-make salad goes well with drinks too so it is a great option to serve at parties and picnics as well. Now, without any further delay, lets move to the recipe:

 

Step by step instructions

  1. Take a bowl, add 1 cup of sweet corn to it.
  • To this, add 1 small chopped onion. Followed by 1 medium tomato, 1 small zucchini, and 1/2 small capsicum.
  • Add salt as per taste.

  • Along with 1 tsp black pepper powder.

Now, add 1 tbsp of olive oil.

  • Give a gentle mix to this so the oil coats everything well.
  • Add 1 tsp oregano.

  • Last but not least, add the juice of a half lemon.

  • Mix everything nicely.

American Corn Salad is ready to serve.

Notes

  • Add vegetables of your choice like cucumber, broccoli, etc.
  • If you want a spicy flavor, then add red chili flakes.
