Uses of Fresh Turmeric Roots:

  • You can use grated turmeric roots to soups and stews.
  • Turmeric Tea is also another option to use roots.
  • If you are suffering from cold, take water and add turmeric roots to it, it will give you instant relief.
  • Try golden milk.
  • Blend it into any smoothie, this will give nice texture and flavor also.
  • Season your stir fry foods with some grated turmeric.
  • It will add beautiful color to your regular plain dishes like quinoa, mashed potatoes, basmati rice, etc.
  • You can also sun dry fresh turmeric roots, make a powder of it and use it as a spice.
  • Also, you can make a paste of fresh turmeric, freeze it and then place those frozen turmeric paste in a zip lock bag. You can use it in various things now.
