Masala-e-Magic

Masala-e-Magic: Sabzi Masala: Maggi Masala: most tasty spice.

There is something unique in this spice powder which doubles the taste of the dish. Right??? So, to know the secret recipe of this powder read the full blog.

Masala-e-Magic gains popularity in a very short period of time. All this is because of the amazing taste of this spice. Masala-e-Magic is a great taste enhancer and can be prepared with such ingredients which are easily available at home.

Though preparing masala powder is so easy yet I want to highlight some of the important points:

  • I used some whole spices to which I roast for 2 mins on low flame. Roasting helps to eliminate the raw flavors of spices. But do not over roast otherwise it will ruin the taste of spice. Transfer the spices from the pan into any other bowl just after 2 minutes.
  • If you don’t have the whole spices then replace those with powdered spices.
  • The measurement of ingredients is a must here. Use them in a specified quantity then only the spice powder will taste best.
  • This is no onion no garlic version.

Use this taste doubler to any of the dry vegetables like Bhindi, Gobi Aloo, etc as the seasoning and enjoy the meal with your family. Your kids will definitely love the taste of vegetables. You can also use this to some of the gravy dishes like Matar MushroomPaneer Butter Masala, etc.

Step by step instructions

  • Take a pan and add all the whole spices like cumin seeds, fennel seeds, fenugreek seeds and cinnamon stick.

  • Followed by whole Kashmiri red chili, small cardamoms, and cloves. Turn on the flame and roast the spices for 3 minutes.
  • After 3 minutes, off the flame and transfer the spices to a mixing jar, and allow to cool down slightly.
  • Blend the spices to make powder. Transfer into a bowl.
  • To this, add powdered spices like coriander powder, black pepper powder, and turmeric powder.
  • Followed by dry mango powder and Kashmiri red chili powder.
  • Also, salt, ginger powder, and sugar powder.
  • Mix well.
  • Store in a dry air-tight container. Masala-e-Magic is ready to sprinkle on dishes.
