Cooking Tips Part 1:

  • While cooking bottle gourd halwa, add 2-3 tbsp of cream (either homemade or market purchased) while frying bottle gourd, it gives a unique and delicious flavor to your dish.
  • Add a few teaspoons of rice flour while making the batter for fritters, this will make fritters more crispy.
  • Use hot water instead of normal water while preparing sooji ka halwa to avoid the formation of lumps.
  • To avoid sticking the ladyfingers to the utensil while cooking, involve 1 teaspoon of curd in its recipe.
  • Add a little amount of curd along with water in the flour to knead the dough for kachoris, which results in more soft kachoris.

Kitchen Hacks Part 1:

  • Put a pinch of asafoetida in the base of the red chili powder jar, this will prevent bugs.

 

  • Grease the grater with oil before grating cheese or paneer to avoid stickiness.

 

  • Green chilies will remain fresh for a long if you store them without the stem and in tissue paper.

 

  • To prevent bugs in rice, put a few cloves and bay leaves in its container.
