Flax Seeds are commonly known as Alsi ke beej, the small brown and yellow-shaped seeds are considered as one of the healthiest food in the world. These seeds are used worldwide on a daily basis.

Talking about the health benefits, these small seeds are loaded with a number of nutrients like:
- high in omega 3
- rich in fiber
- low cholesterol
- low sodium
- high in protein etc.,
Furthermore, adding flax seeds in your daily diet prevents:
- constipation
- diabetes
- various types of cancer
- cardiovascular problem
- obesity
- asthma
- postmenstrual problems etc.
All you need to have is just one tablespoon (7 gm) of ground flax seeds per day, it provides you a rich source of vitamins and minerals.
Various ways to use flax seeds are:
- Use toppings on salad
- mix with water and drink
- adding in bread or cookies, muffins or cupcakes while baking
- sprinkling over cereals
- mix in yogurt in powdered form
- mixing in smoothies to have a thick consistency
- use a little amount of flax flour for pancakes or cakes
- flaxseed oil as a dressing on the salad
Apart from the diet, flax seeds work like a magic in our hair. It acts as the best conditioner. All we need to do is,
Take 2 teaspoons of flaxseeds in a pan along with 1 glass of water. Boil it on medium heat until it has a 1-string consistency. Switch off the flame. Allow it to cool down a little and then strain it with the help of a cloth.
Mix one Vitamin-E capsule in it and our gel is ready to use. Apply it on hairs from roots to scalp and wash hairs after 30 minutes.
Do this process once a week and you will be amazed by the results.
