Makhana Raita

Ingredients
  

  • 20 gm Makhana Foxnuts
  • 1 cup curd beaten
  • 1 tbsp grated fresh coconut
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper powder
  • 1/2 tsp cumin powder
  • coriander leaves finely chopped
  • salt as per taste

Instructions
 

  • Take a pan. Add 20 gm of Makhana to it. Roast it for 2 minutes on medium-high flame.
  • Take a bowl. Add 1 cup of whisked curd in it.
  • To it, add 2 tbsp of freshly grated coconut. This helps to remove the sourness from curd.
  • Add chopped coriander leaves
  • Followed by a pinch of black pepper powder.
  • Next, add 1 tsp of roasted cumin powder.
  • Last but not least, add salt as per your taste.
  • Mix all the things nicely.
  • To this, add roasted makhana and mix gently.
  • Keep it in the refrigerator for 10 minutes so that the makhana absorb flavors.
  • Serve chilled.
