Makhana Raita

- 20 gm Makhana Foxnuts
- 1 cup curd beaten
- 1 tbsp grated fresh coconut
- 1/2 tsp black pepper powder
- 1/2 tsp cumin powder
- coriander leaves finely chopped
- salt as per taste
Take a pan. Add 20 gm of Makhana to it. Roast it for 2 minutes on medium-high flame.
Take a bowl. Add 1 cup of whisked curd in it.
To it, add 2 tbsp of freshly grated coconut. This helps to remove the sourness from curd.
Add chopped coriander leaves
Followed by a pinch of black pepper powder.
Next, add 1 tsp of roasted cumin powder.
Last but not least, add salt as per your taste.
Mix all the things nicely.
To this, add roasted makhana and mix gently.
Keep it in the refrigerator for 10 minutes so that the makhana absorb flavors.
Serve chilled.
