Paneer Cutlets

  • 1 pan for frying

Ingredients
  

  • 100 gm Cottagecheese (paneer) mashed
  • 2 small boiled potatoes mashed
  • 1 small carrot finely chopped
  • 1 small capsicum finely chopped
  • 5-6 no no french beans finely chopped
  • 1 cup bread crumbs for binding and coating
  • 1 medium green chili finely chopped
  • coriander leaves finely chopped
  • salt to taste
  • a pinch of black salt
  • butter for pan-frying
  • dry fruits for filling finely chopped

Instructions
 

  • Take a mixing bowl and add mashed paneer toit.
  • Add boiled and mashed potatoes.
  • Add vegetables of your choice: carrot, french beans, and capsicum.
  • Add green chilies and finely chopped coriander leaves.
  • Add about 2-3 tbsp of bread crumbs.
  • Put salt as per your taste and a pinch of black salt.
  • Mix all the things nicely.
  • Take a small portion from the dough and start making Tikki.
  • Press a little in the center and stuff some dry fruits in it.
  • Roll to make it round cutlet and then flatten it. Take some more mixture if require but make smooth cutlet.
  • Likewise, prepare all the cutlets.
  • Heat a pan and apply butter on it.
  • Place all the cutlets on it and pan fry on low medium flame.
  • Flip it after 5 minutes and fry on another side as well.
  • Once done, take it out ona paper towel.
  • Serve hot with tomato ketchup or chutney of your choice.

Notes

  • Use vegetables of your choice, make sure it is finely chopped.
  • Use fresh paneer
  • Be careful while flipping the cutlets as they are extremely soft.
