Swtich on the flame and roast it for 2 mins on low flmae.
After roasting, cool it slightly and grind it to make powder.
In a bowl, add ghee.
Followed by powdered sugar.
Mix both the things really well and form a foamy texture.
Add powdered chana dal to it.
Followed by almonds and cardamom powder.
Mix all the things and make a dough. If find it difficult to bind dough, add 1 tsp ghee and then again.
Take a spoon and take out some portion from the dough. Cut all the peda with the help of a spoon. In this way, we can have equal size of peda.
Shape peda.
Garnish with almonds. This is totally optional, you can also garnish with some pistachios or can serve it without garnishing.
Notes
• Do not over roast the chana dal.
• Adjust the sweetness as per your taste.
